1. Purpose of the Policy:

Meselia Hungária Kft. considers the protection of personal data to be of paramount importance in its activities. It will always process the personal data provided to it in compliance with the applicable laws, ensure their security, and take the technical and organizational measures necessary to comply with the relevant laws.

Meselia Hungária Kft. recognizes the content of this policy as binding on itself. Meselia Hungária Kft. reserves the right to modify its Data Protection Policy at any time by its unilateral decision - in compliance with the applicable laws.

2. Definitions

2.1. Personal data: data that can be linked to any specific (identified or identifiable) natural person (hereinafter referred to as the data subject), and conclusions about the data subject that can be drawn from the data. Personal data will retain this quality during data processing as long as its relationship with the data subject can be restored. A person is considered identifiable in particular if he or she can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to a name, an identifier or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

2.2. Consent: a voluntary and definite indication of the data subject's wishes, based on adequate information, by which he or she gives his or her unequivocal consent to the processing of personal data relating to him or her, in whole or in part.

2.3. Objection: a statement by the data subject by which he or she objects to the processing of his or her personal data and requests the termination of the processing or the erasure of the data.

2.4. Data controller: a natural or legal person or an organisation without legal personality who determines the purposes of the processing of data, takes and implements the decisions relating to the processing (including the means used) or has them implemented by a data processor entrusted by him or her.

2.5. Data processing: any operation or set of operations performed on data, regardless of the method used, such as collection, recording, recording, organization, storage, alteration, use, transmission, disclosure by any means, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure, destruction, and preventing further use of data. Data processing also includes taking photographs, audio or video recordings, and recording physical characteristics (e.g. fingerprints, palm prints, DNA samples, iris scans) suitable for identifying a person.

2.6. Data transfer: if the data are made available to a specific third party.

2.7. Disclosure: if the data are made available to anyone.

2.10. Data destruction: the complete physical destruction of data or the data medium containing them.

2.11. Data processing: the performance of technical tasks related to data processing operations, regardless of the method and means used to perform the operations and the place of application.

2.12. Data processor: the natural or legal person or organization without legal personality who processes personal data on behalf of the data controller - including on behalf of the controller - including on behalf of the controller pursuant to the provisions of the law.

2.13. Third party: a natural or legal person or an organization without legal personality who is not the same as the data subject, the data controller or the data processor.

3. Data processing guidelines

3.1. Personal data may be processed if the data subject consents to it or if it is ordered by law or – based on the authorization of law, within the scope specified therein – by a local government decree.

3.2. In the case of mandatory data processing, the purpose and conditions of data processing, the scope and accessibility of the data to be processed, the duration of data processing, and the person of the data controller are determined by the law or local government decree ordering the data processing.

3.3. A law may order the disclosure of personal data in the public interest – by expressly specifying the scope of the data. In all other cases, the consent of the data subject is required for disclosure, or in the case of sensitive data, written consent. In case of doubt, it shall be presumed that the data subject has not given his consent.

3.4. The consent of the data subject shall be deemed to have been given in relation to the data communicated by the data subject during his/her public appearance or transferred for the purpose of disclosure.

3.5. In the procedure initiated at the request of the data subject, his/her consent to the processing of the necessary data shall be presumed. The data subject shall be informed of this fact.

3.6. The data subject may also give his/her consent within the framework of a written contract concluded with Meselia Hungária Kft. for the purpose of fulfilling the provisions of the contract.

3.7. The right to the protection of personal data and the personality rights of the data subject – unless otherwise provided by law – may not be infringed by other interests related to data processing, including the publicity of data of public interest.

3.8. Personal data may only be processed for a specific purpose, in order to exercise a right and fulfill an obligation. Data processing must comply with this purpose at all stages.

3.9. Only personal data may be processed that is essential for the achievement of the purpose of data processing, suitable for achieving the purpose, and only to the extent and for the period necessary for the achievement of the purpose.

3.10. Personal data may be transferred and different data processing operations may be linked if the data subject has consented to it or if the law permits it, and if the conditions for data processing are met for each personal data item.

4. Scope of personal data, purpose, legal basis and duration of data processing

4.1. Website visitors’ data (hereinafter referred to as User)

4.1.1. Meselia Hungária Kft. processes the data provided during registration or sending messages when visiting the website it operates, by itself and the website’s Data Processor (name: Kovács Csaba Egyéni Vállalkozó) in order to ensure that Users receive a response to the messages or price quote requests they send, and to ensure the smooth running of the purchasing process.

The Operator sends Users – based on the data provided and in accordance with their requests – information, technical assistance and price quotes related to the products.

The registered data is stored as follows:
– User data is retained for 1 year, except in cases where the User himself wishes to delete his data from the system.

4.2. Data processing serves the relationship between Users using the Website’s services and the Operator, and to improve the user experience. By using cookies, the system automatically generates statistical data on the duration of the visit and the pages visited in order for the Operator to further develop, optimize and tailor the Website services to the User's needs. The Operator also uses cookies to provide the User with content consistent with the User's previous activity during the next visit, and to automatically load their own settings, thus making the use of the website more convenient.

4.3. Data transfers: data is not transferred to external, third parties. An exception to this is the external company delivering ordered products or product samples.

4.4. Data security issues: the data of interested parties and clients is not public.

4.5. The User does not have to provide any data to use the Website. However, in order to use certain services, it may be necessary to provide the Operator with specific personal data.

Depending on the service, the Operator may need the following personal data:

4.6. When viewing the Website, the use of cookies placed on the User's computer may automatically record the start and end time of the User's visit, IP address, and in some cases - depending on the settings of the User's computer - the browser, operating system type, language, parameters of the User's device, the settings specified by the user on the Website, the subpages visited and the time spent on them. 4.7. The Operator stores personal data on the servers of MikroVPS Kft. (9985 Felsőszölnök, Hármashatár út 33.), which are protected by 24-hour personal guarding.

5. Rights of the data subjects and their enforcement

5.1. The data subject may request information about the processing of his/her personal data, and may request the correction of his/her personal data, or – with the exception of data processing prescribed by law – its deletion by sending a written request to the email address info@meselia.com or by post to the registered office of the Data Controller (2013 Pomáz, Táncsics M. u. 20.).

5.2. At the request of the data subject, Meselia Hungária Kft. provides information about the data it processes, the purpose, legal basis, duration of the data processing, the name, address (registered office) of the data processor and its activities related to data processing, as well as who receives or has received the data and for what purpose.

5.3. Meselia Hungária Kft. is obliged to provide the information in writing, in a plain language, free of charge, as soon as possible after the request is submitted, but no later than 30 days.

5.4. Meselia Hungária Kft. is obliged to correct any personal data that is not true.

5.5. Meselia Hungária Kft. deletes if the processing is unlawful, requested by the data subject, incomplete or incorrect - and this state cannot be legally corrected -, provided that the deletion is not excluded by law, if the purpose of the data processing has ceased, the statutory period for storing the data has expired, or the court has ordered it.

5.6. The data subject and all those to whom the data was previously transmitted for the purpose of data processing are notified of the correction and deletion. The notification may be omitted if this does not violate the legitimate interests of the data subject with regard to the purpose of data processing.

5.7. The data subject may object to the processing of his or her personal data if the processing (transmission) of the personal data is necessary exclusively for the exercise of the rights or legitimate interests of the data controller or the data recipient, except if the data processing is ordered by law, the use or transmission of the personal data is for the purpose of direct marketing, public opinion polling or scientific research, otherwise the exercise of the right to object is permitted by law.

5.8. Meselia Hungária Kft. – with the simultaneous suspension of data processing – is obliged to examine the objection within the shortest possible time from the submission of the application, but no later than 15 days, and to inform the applicant of the result in writing. If the objection is justified, the data controller is obliged to terminate the data processing – including further data collection and transmission – and block the data, as well as to notify all those to whom the personal data affected by the objection were previously transmitted about the objection and the measures taken on its basis, and who are obliged to take measures to enforce the right to object.

5.9. In the event of a violation of their rights, the data subject may take legal action against the data controller. The court shall proceed with the case ex officio.
